Covering beauty for over a decade, founder Bee Shapiro became pregnant with her daughter Ellis and was living in Brooklyn (hence Ellis Brooklyn!). Bee found there were no sophisticated clean options for fragrance. She went on a journey to redefine perfume in the clean beauty era. Ellis Brooklyn officially launched in 2015, driven by a passion for beautifully scented, sustainably sourced fragrances that evoke well-being and real-life experiences.

We believe that global standards, which are tested by labs & backed by real science, are the ideal starting point for clean beauty.
